The holiday accommodation "Casa Filou" is a large complex consisting of a main building and a casita (outbuilding). The main building has three bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen with an open-plan dining and living area. The casita has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a small kitchen with dining area. Both residential units can be used together and yet independently of each other. This creates the ideal conditions for two generations or families of friends to spend their holidays together but still have the opportunity to retreat and enjoy privacy. Both houses, as well as the pool house with shower and WC, were completely renovated in March 2024.
Casa Filou is furnished in a rustic style and is particularly suitable for families - including those with children/toddlers. It meets the requirements of a medium standard of living. The amenities include air conditioning (individually adjustable in each room), Wi-Fi in the entire living area, a roof terrace with a wonderful view over traditional olive groves to the sea, a BBQ area with a separate seating area and a washing machine with tumble dryer. Two cots, high chairs and two bed guards for small children are available on request. The two houses are set in well-tended gardens with a pool, old olive trees, almond trees and cypresses as well as a variety of Mediterranean flora. The entire complex (approx. 6,600 square metres) is spacious and fenced throughout.
The village of L'Ampolla can be reached by car in five minutes. It is a picturesque fishing village with a fishing harbour and marina, numerous restaurants, shopping facilities, a weekly market, a panoramic path and many sandy beaches. L'Ampolla is located on the edge of the Delta de l'Ebre, the Ebro Delta, which includes large nature reserves, extensive rice fields and kilometres of natural sandy beaches. This unique recreational area is known as a paradise for various water birds, including flamingos. The flat delta and the hilly hinterland (Terres de l'Ebre) invite you to linger and enjoy a variety of cycling tours and hikes.
