Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The very good: (1) Mari and Daniel are exceptional managers. The owner should give them a raise and a bonus! They are very attentive to your needs and super-helpful. Very friendly. They did everything they could to make me welcome – and they keep the apartment very clean and tidy. (2) The apartment has a 180-degree view of the port – very beautiful; but remember that view is part of your rent – do you really need it?

Negative: The very bad: Correctable flaws. (1) Balcony–Not recommend for anyone under fifteen o with a hint of height fear - it has rails, but NOT high enough. This can be corrected by raising the rails. (2) Wi-Fi: unreliable – failed constantly. This issue was mentioned by a previous guest, but it has not been corrected. This can be correct: buy a top-notch modem. (3) The fridge is very small for a two-bedroom apartment and sofa bed. It’s an inconvenience for one person – but for tfwo or more, it's useless – no freezer – forget ice cream. This can be fixed, get a bigger fridge. (4) While the place was normally quiet from midnight to 7:30am, you will hear normal voice level during the day. Also, the doors to the apartments close with a very loud bang. This can be fixed, just wear ear plugs. The very ugly: Uncorrectable flaws. (1) Five floors [73m steps] on narrow stairs - no elevator = even in top shape, carrying a bag of groceries or luggage, it's a task. I realize the owner, mentions this flaw, but only in the “list of amenities” (i.e., “the small print”). The owner should should mention it in the summary description. On a phone call I made to the owner, a couple of days before my stay, he did mention this flaw, but too late for me to change to another place. (2) The shower space is extremely small this fact should be mentioned in the be mentioned in the summary – the footprint is 2ft x 2ft (0,6 m by 0,6m) you cannot bend your knee to reach your foot nor turn around easily without hitting either the shower knob or sliding doors – in fact I had to open the sliding door to allow some elbow room. (3) The toilet space is extremely small and uncomfortable. I think there is an expectation, for the price one pays, to have adequate bathroom space. This apartment fails miserably in this area.
