The Fischerhaus am Moosbach - a ground-floor bungalow - is located in the Mietenkam district of the municipality of Grassau, almost at the end of Forellenweg. The property borders directly on the Moosbach stream, which is about one meter deep at this point.
Plenty of space with 3 bedrooms - the layout of the living space with approx. 130 m2 is: 1 master bedroom with two 2x1 m beds, a guest room also with two 2x1 m beds and a single room. The beautiful 50 m2 living and dining room with tiled stove merges into one another. From here you have a wonderful view of the mountains and the adjacent nature reserve. The kitchen, bathroom and a second toilet complete the living area. The washing machine and dryer are housed in a separate utility room, and there is a small sauna with shower in the garden.
The Fischerhaus is located in Mietenkam (530m), a district of Grassau and only 2 km from the town center. Opposite the Fischerhaus is the Kendelmühl Filze, a beautiful nature reserve with many hiking trails. There is an 18-hole golf course almost on the doorstep. The Chiemsee to Feldwies is 7 km away and can be easily reached by bike in 20 minutes. South of Mietenkam, the Achental valley opens up with the Hochgern (1748m) on the left and the Hochplatte (1586m) on the right. Both are excellent hiking mountains, the summits can be reached in approx. 2 1/2 hours and there are plenty of opportunities to stop for refreshments along the way. You can drive to Seegatterl in 20 minutes, from there take the cable car to the Winkelmoos/Steinplatte skiing and hiking area with 50 km of perfectly groomed ski slopes in winter.
