We give a 15% DISCOUNT on all 2026 rentals due to a construction site next to the property. We don't expect guests to be affected too much (so far we have not had any issues with guests), but want to describe the circumstances:
There is a construction of a single-family home on the neighbouring plot on the west side of the property. We are happy to send current pictures that give an idea of how views are obstructed. Mainly at the western end of the gardens behind the house. As they are very wide, it is not too close,
There is one crane and some machinery working, which is audible in the garden behind the house, less so on the seaside terraces, the pool and the other gardens. Inside the house so far, nothing was audible. The most exposed room is the master room, in which you may experience background noise, should noise levels increase in the future. In the rest of the house we don’t expect noise. The terraces are quite far away and the pool additionally has some protection from the rocks in which it is built into.
Work is only during weekdays and during working hours ~9am to ~7pm.
Andalusia has very strict laws regarding manual labor in high temperatures. When temperatures rise above ~34°C (regular temperatures in June, July and August) it is well possible that works are being stopped or at least stopped early in the day (~2pm).
