Casa Rural Aranaratxe is located in the village of Aranaratxe (province of Navarra) in the heart of the Natural Park “Sierra de Urbasa” and it has lovely views to the Natural Park “Monte de Lókiz”. The house, originally a nineteenth century barn, was restored in 2013. It maintains the wood and stone structure as well as the charm of the barn.
It has capacity for 8 people distributed in 1 bedroom with a double bed and 3 bedrooms each with 2 single beds. It has a very spacious living and dining room with fireplace. Windows and balcony face south to Mount Lóquiz, which makes the place very light. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. It is opens on to the dining and living rooms.
There are 2 bathrooms, each with shower and windows to the outside.
The house also has a large games room on the ground floor and a beautiful garden with barbecue.
The house is centrally heated and uses totally organic fuel (firewood and pellets).
The motto of our house is zero boredom! You are in the center of a paradise of biodiversity with lush forests and rivers that nature has generously given to us. The Cascades of the Urederra River, The Magic Wood, the Balcony of Pilatus, countless trails for mountain biking, hiking and climbing, many caves with beautiful lakes and majestic stalactites and stalagmites, an adventure park, famous artisanal cheese-making, prehistoric ruins, etc. are some of the many wonders that you will find in this valley.
Do not forget to taste the traditional cuisine at any of the restaurants in the valley and try the homemade “Patxaran”, if you do not have to drive!
