Summary: Exterior of the home is amazing with beautiful landscape and great pool. This home is located a little way out in a really quiet town for those who want the tranquility. 5 minutes to the beach with two nice restaurants overlooking the ocean. When we arrived at the home the housekeeper showed us to 2 bedrooms and said the third room was not available even though we had booked a home with 3 bedrooms advertised. After the caretaker seeing my disabled sister and arguing about the need to open the third bedroom they finally did. Bedroom was not ready or clean. Second day there the tv lost signal and found the fans not to work in one of the front bedrooms. We asked for two fans and television to be fixed. The housekeeper said the owner had said no to our request so we called Vrbo each day to report the same issue. Each day we asked for tv to be fixed and two days left out of 8 finally got it working. We were so hot that we opened the patio doors and got bit really bad with mosquitos at night. Hot all day in the home which was very uncomfortable so every day we were out of the home sight seeing after breakfast and home for bed. We placed two croissants on the kitchen island ready for breakfast the next day and founds hundreds of tiny ants in the bag. There was however lots of bug spray under the sink. Each day we saw bugs in the kitchen. I would recommend pest control. Upon arrival we were asked for a substantial amount of money for common services and we were told we had to pay for our electricity used. We were a little taken back as it was not stated in the VRBO site.. Vrbo stated that we did not have to pay it if its not put on the platform. Owner lives on the property in the guest house as a black car was coming and going each day. Could of addressed these issues earlier. Pool is beautiful and clean. Location is pretty with a great view of the ocean and town but i think the owner needs to be more considerate on the needs of her guests.
